Towns Vote To Indict George Bush And Dick Cheney

Two towns in Vermont voted yesterday for the indictment of President Bush and Vise President Cheney. In Brattleboro, the vote was 2,012 for and 1,795 against. In Marlboro, it was 43 to 25, with three abstentions. The charges are violating the constitution.

According to the Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce:

"This vote has to do with the president not being honest in his administrations quest for WAR,' When a president misleads our country and pushes for war against the better judgement of the CIA and the Pentagon, and against the wishes of the rest of the world; invading a country where the US installed a dictatorship, simply to control the oil in that part of the world while claiming that we need to fight terrorism (which was not an issue at the time), that president whomever he is, deserves to be called to the mat, and held accountable. ''

Soon to be the GOP nominee John McCain seems to think the Bush regime should not be accountable. He said yesterday: ""I do not agree with your sentiment that there has been widespread corruption. I just don't accept that." The President is going to endorse McCain today. Do we really want another 4 years of the same?
