A group of citizens opposing the TIF (Tax Increment Financing) have petitioned the 250+ acre project based on the application being "replete with misstatements of material facts, misinterpretations and misapplications of law, as well as totally unsupported conclusions". If they're successful, the group will be allowed to offer evidence that previously wasn't given to the general public at the state commission's hearing.
Ok, that sounds fair enough to me.
But wait a minute.
Attorneys for Gulfstream Enterprises LLC plan to sue the citizens unless they back off. It looks like to me that these boys have something to hide. To sue someone because they question the legalities of a company is somewhat disturbing in my book. I hope that doesn't get me sued!
