Republicans/McCain Vote For Torture

The Senate vote today to prohibit the CIA from using waterboarding , or water torture along with other harsh torture techniques. The vote was 51-45 in favor of simply obeying the law. Those in favor of changing our laws to allow torture were mainly Republicans along with John McCain who was once a prisoner of war. McCain has consistently opposed water tortue until now. Now it seems he needs his Republican buddies support for his presidential run. Accordingly, McCain was against waterboarding before he was for it. To no surprise, Bush says he will veto the bill in order to continue torturing prisoners, something that he's said the United States does not do. Unbelievable!
